  1. Prepare 500 gm chicken
  2. Prepare 100 gm yogurt
  3. Prepare 3 medium sized onion chopped

Grind it into a masala powder in a grinder/blender. How to make Chicken bhuna masala Preparations Finely chop the onion & tomatoes. Marinate the chicken with curd, ginger garlic paste, turmeric powder, red chili powder & salt. Making the bhuna chicken: Heat a Kadhai/Indian Wok over medium heat.

  1. Marinate the chicken with yogurt and keep it for 1hour.
  2. Heat some oil in a wok and add cardamom, cloves and cinnamon.
  3. Saute it for a while and then add the chopped onions and chopped green chillies. Fry it till the onions are golden brown in colour.
  4. Add the ginger paste, garlic paste, red chilli powder, kashmiri red chilli powder. Fry it till the masala gets cooked well.
  5. Add the marinated chicken and some salt. Saute it well.
  6. Cover it for 20minutes and saute it in between.
  7. Add some lukewarm water if required.
  8. After 20minutes check whether the chicken is cooked. If yes, add the black pepper powder, garam masala powder, sugar and coriander leaves. Saute it well.
  9. Switch off the flame and add the ghee and serve hot.
  10. Done and ready to serve!
