  8. Sauté onion and garlic in sausage grease. When limp add to soup mixture.
  9. Wash greens thoroughly and coarsely chop. Add to soup and cook until greens are to your liking.
  10. Add heavy cream and serve.
  11. Done and ready to serve!

Stir in the red pepper flakes, oregano, chicken broth, milk, and half-and-half. Heat the oil in a soup pot over medium heat and add in the sausage and onion. Bring to a boil and reduce to a simmer. Remove the tough stem from the kale and discard. Roughly chop the kale and add the greens to the soup.
