- Potong dada ayam menjadi bagian kecil-kecil, marinasi dengan minyak wijen dan potongan kasar bawang putih (saya marinasi hanya 3 menit), juga potong bawang bombay secara memanjang
- Ambil wajan yang telah dibersihkan, panaskan, masukkan mentega dan tumis bawang bombay hingga layu, kemudian masukkan ayam yang telah dimarinasi, tambahkan secukupnya garam dan satu sendok teh kecap manis (untuk warna kecoklatan), masak hingga matang, dan sisihkan
- Untuk saus, campurkan semua bahan saus dan aduk rata. Jika lebih suka manis, silahkan tambahkan gula, dan jika lebih suka pedas, boleh ditambahkan bubuk cabe kasar (sesuai selera)
- Jika sayur, ayam, dan saus telah siap, siapkan mangkuk, isi dengan nasi putih (saya kurangi dari porsi biasa karena sayurnya banyak), susun sayur dan ayam sesuai keinginan (saya tambahkan telur mata sapi juga)
